In this regard, the A-4U has organized a Series of Debates with African scholars in Autumn 2021 around 4 topics about the present and the future of Africa, such as feminism, migrations, climate change and African culture. The Event, entitled <strong>\u201cReshaping the Dialogue with Contemporary African Worlds\u201d<\/strong> and addressed to the University community and the general public, has the support of <strong>ICEX Espa\u00f1a Exportaci\u00f3n e Inversiones.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>All 4 Sessions share the same structure: in the first part, a keynote speaker will introduce the topic of discussion and answer questions from the audience, and the second part will host a round table on key ideas about the subject, also open to questions from the audience. Each Session is coordinated by a specialist on the subject from an A-4U university.<\/p>\n<p>The 4 topics have been chosen with a will to enhance the vitality and creativity of the African continent from an African perspective in four specific areas of high impact and relevance.<\/p>\n<p>The Event will count on the presence of eminent personalities of international prestige and leading researchers. The 4 Debates will be conducted by a team of moderators with extensive experience in the African continent: La Vanguardia correspondent in Africa and author of several books on the Continent, <strong>Xavier Aldekoa<\/strong>, exalumni of one the A-4U universities who as a journalist has covered conflicts and social matters in over 40 African countries, and the journalist and writer <strong>Agus Morales<\/strong>, director of the Revista5W magazine who publishes articles at The New York Times on a regular basis.<\/p>\n<p>The Debates will be held in hybrid mode at the premises of the A-4U member university in charge of coordinating the Event and online via Zoom in English (translation service available English\/Spanish on the 1<sup>st<\/sup> and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> Debates).
