Huyen Nguyen works at Hanoi University International Office and attended an International Staff Week at Universitat Autónoma de Barcelona in 2022.
She says: “One of the most interesting activities we had at UAB was a really international discussion on various aspects of internationalization of higher education. Participants from Europe, Asia and South America gathered in groups and exchanged common practices conducted in each institution, aiming to promote the strategies in mobility of researchers, staff and students.
Also, national policies applied in each country were shared, enlightening our understanding in the field. I also got further insights into the Erasmus+ programs, besides expanding my personal network with colleagues from other regions.”
She adds: “Furthermore, the visit to Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) was an exciting opportunity as it allowed me to meet colleagues and discuss the possibility of expanding our cooperation. I was also amazed by the rich history of the university.”
