Saowanee Namthachan is an International Relations Officer at Khon Kaen University whose visit was hosted by the International Office of Universidad Autónoma de Madrid in 2022.
This stay was useful for “sharing and learning best practices from A4U in terms of international student recruitment and services, finding out about international activities and collaboration, learning about research conducted at each A4U university, and gaining insight into how to increase the university’s reputation, the position in world university rankings, increase the number of international students, and create strong international networks with companies and research institutions.»
Saowanee’s visit was part of a pilot project on academic, staff and student activities between Khon Kaen University and A4U.
Saowanee says: «This stay was memorable, challenging and fruitful as I learned about the internationalization of each university besides learning the Spanish language and culture. Also, I had the opportunity to visit beautiful environments with green campuses, and enjoyed the friendly staff and atmosphere.
